Anyone out there have any guidance for a pre-verbal toddler engaging in these not so lovely habits? It seems that without a true ability to communicate his desires, Reese has resorted to parent abuse to display his dislikes. HELP!!!

Biting and pinching and hitting, oh my!
If you have spent much time with us lately or talked to us on the phone only to hear us stop and say "Reese, no biting mommy/daddy," then you know where this is coming from.

We went to the zoo, zoo, zoo...
The great MBA Family life committee hosted an end of year picnic at the Potowatomi Zoo. Despite unexpected rain and wind it was nice to spend time catching up with Geoff's friend's families and fun to see Reese interested in the animals!

Reese makes friends with a cute goat!
One of the girls generously loaned her sweatshirt to Reese...
thankfully he is too young to have minded the color :)
A lovely day for a walk...
We've had some wonderful weather here lately and an even more wonderful opportunity to share it with our friends Christina and baby Lily! Nothing like a walk around the lake to make it finally feel like spring!

Fun in Milwaukee!
Aunt Katie let Reese and I crash her spring break for a bit this week. We had a great time eating, playing at the Big Backyard, visiting "the Domes", and just generally hanging out. Reese appreciated cousin Tom sharing his toys and loved watching him do big boy things! And I appreciated Katie and Joel doing all the fabulous cooking :). We miss them already!!!
Hoppy Easter!!

mmmmmmmmm, fresh bread!
If you know me, you know that craigslist is one of my favorite things lately. And so is green living. And so is saving money. And so is baking. So how thrilled was I to find a breadmaker on craigslist that was used (barely) and cheap. Yay! Now I just have to adapt my recipes for the breadmaker. Come on over if you want fresh bread!
